Getting to Chittagong

Shah Amanat International Airport (CGP) serves Chittagong, also known as Chattogram. It has some international flights, mainly to the Middle East, and frequent domestic flights to Dhaka.

From the US, most trips connect once in a Gulf hub and again in Dhaka, or connect in a Gulf hub that flies to Chittagong directly.

Onward travel

Chittagong is the gateway to Cox's Bazar and the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Some areas of the Hill Tracts have extra entry rules for foreign visitors, so check current requirements before you go.

Tips

Compare fares into Chittagong with fares into Dhaka plus a domestic flight.

Check entry requirements with the Embassy of Bangladesh before you travel.
